We had a lot of fun with some books about winter. The students created Inuit (Eskimo) dolls, and igloos! We had a crazy start to our week as our classroom lights were not working. We spent the morning doing our work in the Science Lab. We had a fun STEM activity --- building igloos! They were so proud when they finished! Camp Koski - Arctic Post Career Day was a lot of fun! Check out these future professions! The entire school enjoyed our assembly featuring a Jiu-Jitsu demonstration. Even Principal Dow got to show us some moves! The 1st grade classes were fortunate to meet some of our FBISD police officers, and their sweet K-9 police dog! Happy Lunar New Year & Happy Chinese New Year on January 25! It is the Year of the Rat. We enjoyed hearing about this student's family traditions. He even shared some special red envelopes with the class!
