The students were so excited to open their bags and read their valentines. We had a fabulous party with donuts and candy robots. Thanks so much, PTO! We began our study of fairy tales with making some characters to put on our mural. We used adjectives to make poems about hot chocolate. It's finally cold enough to drink it! We completed a project on the seasons and the students wrote a persuasive piece. They had fun sharing their opinions! We enjoyed a videoconference this week with Alaska! We had a little technical difficulty with the connection so ended up watching it on my laptop. The students loved seeing some of the animals that live there. We have been reading some traditional fairy tales, and enjoyed this dramatic play after reading Little Red Riding Hood. The wolf (!!!), content after eating Grandma. Everyone made their own storytelling puppets and had fun retelling the story.
