It was a beautiful day to get outside and jump rope! Thank you to the amazing Scotties that raised over $14,000 for the American Heart Association!
We had a busy week, gearing up for Spring Break! We read some famous tall tales, including learning about Paul Bunyan. It's Dr. Seuss Week! We read some books about him and even did a directed drawing. We enjoyed hat day, green day, and Wacky Wednesday! We also had a pajama day (sorry, no picture!). We enjoyed an assembly with a book read by Edwin Maysonet, a former Astros, Brewers and Cubs player! We also enjoyed seeing Swatson, the Sugar Land Skeeters mascot, as he introduced a reading program for our Scotties! We worked hard with measurement this week. We even measured our feet against a size 23 shoe that Shaquille O'Neal might have worn! We also used tickets to do some non-standard measuring. Jump Rope for Heart
