Learning about 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional figures has been a lot of fun. The students showed a lot of creativity with making paper-shape pictures, using marshmallows and toothpicks to make figures, and writing about their favorite shapes on the blog when we went to the computer lab.

In Social Studies, we have been studying about Land & Water. We learned about many types of landforms, and we brainstormed reasons why water is important to us. We had fun with some timelines of different pieces of technology: phones, televisions, and computers. They were amazed to see (and hear) about how technology has changed from then to now.
This was a moment that really made me smile. The students were allowed some free reading time. Several got their hands on storytelling puppets and it was entertaining to watch!
Open House was a fun night to see many of you! Here are some projects we had on display.
Here is the slideshow I showed at Open House. It is a collection of photos from the year.
Thanks to Mrs. Koski having a dead camera battery, we have no pictures of the field trip to the Childrens' Museum! The students drew their favorite memory of the day. You can tell they really enjoyed the day!
