We had a blast with our study of apples this week. We read some delightful literature, both fiction and non-fiction. We learned about the life cycle of the apple, and brainstormed a great list of all the delicious things to eat, made from apples. We tasted and compared apples (green was our class favorite), used the cores to make apple prints, and made applesauce from scratch (along with some tasty bread in the bread machine). Apples, apples, apples!

looks like everyone had fun with the apples-I wish I could have been there to test them! Our new favorite is the Arkansas Black-ever tried that one?
