Moving on to yellow day, we learned about number lines. We used different ways to practice using one. Blue Day allowed us to practice ways to make ten. We read My Big Green Pocketbook on Green Day, and acted out the story. The students then made their own pocketbooks or briefcases with important things inside. We did a fun comparison activity for math, using Fruit Loops. It was Spirit Night at Spring Creek BBQ and I enjoyed seeing some of you! Thanks for supporting Highlands! Someone's green briefcase even made it. :) We ended our week with Carrot Day. We observed, measured, and weighed our carrots. We even measured each other with carrots!
