What an exciting week we had with our Thanksgiving Feast! The students made homemade "butter" and contributed to the fruit salad. We talked so much about the first Thanksgiving and how exciting it would have been! This was my view from my rocking chair at the start of the day! Pilgrims and Native Americans everywhere! We shook the jars of cream until the butter appeared (sorry my camera was acting up). Our principal, Mrs. Dow, stopped by to join in the festivities. We celebrated the love for our families with a special book, written just for them! Here are some turkeys in disguise! Here's a social studies project that we put together. After discussing goods and services, everyone created a business and identified if they produced goods or provided a service. We called it "Scottie's Neighborhood!"
