We have been practicing our doubles facts in math. It's fun to practice with a friend! In Science, we've been learning about matter and energy. We decided to walk around school and look for solids, liquids, and gases. Look at our young scientists recording their observations! In Social Studies, we learned about what makes a good citizen. These students are on the Wanted list! Wanted for good citizenship! One form of energy is light energy. We had fun with flashlights, and tested different materials to see if light would pass through them. Making shadows was fun, too! We learned about adjectives this week, and how to use them in a sentence. These young reading detectives wrote some great sentences with this new skill.
