After reading The Moonglow Roll-O-Rama, where the animals skate in the heavens at night, we made our own "moonglow" settings. Their animals were so cute! We've been working on addition in Math. After reviewing how to make 10 on a ten-frame, we came up with these sticker stories. What are some sources of light? I'll bet your first-grader can tell you quite a few. We did a fun science activity with individual flashlights to see the power of light. They made shadow puppets on the board, and made their own "light shows" to enjoy. It was quite a sight!
