We had some fun moments this week with our unit on Pigs! We read some hilarious fiction literature, and read non-fiction texts to learn the real facts. We began the week with reading The Three Little Pigs. Watching the retelling of this story was pretty funny! One of our stories led us to make creative pigs. We spent some time each day this week working on non-fiction details about pigs to create pig books. The best part is always sharing with a friend! We've been doing a lot of measuring with our Math unit. One day, we used raffle tickets to measure things in the classroom. I casually wondered out loud, "I wonder how long the orange cabinets are?" - and suddenly they all rushed over and figured out how to get themselves organized to measure. The answer was, "109 tickets!" It was fun reading about your family adventures over Spring Break!

Love all the projects you and your kiddos do...but I have to ask: where did you get that lovely quilt that rests on your white rocking chair?
