We spent the day at stations with our friends, celebrating the number 100!
For President's Day, the students did these terrific drawings of Washington & Lincoln, and wrote facts about each. As we continued our unit on fairy tales, we had some pretty talented actors that performed Cinderella with their groups. The students loved drawing their own versions of Abiyoyo, the giant. In Math, we've been working with number lines, so they put together number lines to 120. On Career Day at Highlands, we were fortunate to spend some time with a NASA engineer. She showed us many features of a real astronaut spacesuit. 100th Day! We spent the day at stations with our friends, celebrating the number 100! We voted on our favorite station of the day. We even took a walk around the school, counting 100 steps from different starting points. It was a great day!
