Thank you to everyone that joined us for an exciting afternoon of reading our original poems!
We explored seeds all week. We enjoyed seeing the different sizes, shapes, and colors. We soaked lima bean seeds, then removed the seed coat to see the embryo inside. The students recorded their observations. We planted seeds and look forward to observing their growth. We are watching these flowers to see if the red dye affects any parts of the plant. We completed our poetry books after a few weeks of study. They were excited to read them to each other and make flowers for our guests that are coming to the Poetry Party. Thank you to the students that bought the Teacher Experience at the Festival auction. The butterflies are hatching in the garden outside! We have been observing money all week and recording what we see. Some students even brought in money from other countries so we could see the difference. Poetry Party!
