We started the day with an assembly and pep rally. Everyone was excited to move outside for the games!
We used our knowledge of coins and their worth to play a shopping game. We have been learning about how things have changed over time, especially with new technology. The students used their creativity and skills to create new inventions, from a lunch kit with a freezer section to robot cleaners to cars that never get dirty. It was very fun to share! They enjoyed the collection of old phones. Times have changed! We were so excited to welcome Britta Merwin, a meteorologist at KPRC Channel 2. First we got our signs ready to show her! She did several science experiments and answered lots of questions. We sent her off with a little Scottie gift for her baby, due in October! Field Day! We started the day with an assembly and pep rally. Everyone was excited to move outside for the games! In the afternoon, we had snocones and a high-energy performance by Soul Street Dance company. It was a fun day!
