Our second week of school was full of activity! We made some cool coconut name trees after reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. Sorting buttons was a fun job. The students came up with some great sorting rules! Look how engaged they are! Another sorting activity was done with these "alien" cards. They were creative with their answers! Having time to explore Math Stations is one of our favorite parts of the day! After reading Elmer, they designed their own unique elephants. They also drew some clues about what they did on summer vacation.

Love all the activities...but really love the use of quilt designs/patterns...in the learning process. Here's to another great school year for teacher and the class!
