We have been busy getting ready for our Thanksgiving Feast, but we also made some cool things for our hallway. We learned how to add labels to some detailed drawings. We also added details to our drawings of things you can do in the night, and during the day. To prepare for our Feast, we made headbands. Each student chose to make either a Pilgrim, or a Native American. We spoke about the importance of family, and read our original Family books to each other. Time to make the butter! We even wrote some "secret" messages using only Native American pictures. I had quite an audience while cutting up the yummy fruit! Time to feast! Scroll down to see an iMovie with our thoughts about being thankful! All of the teachers at Highlands are thankful for YOU! * photo credit to Lisa Ku
