We had a busy and interesting week, studying the history of the Pilgrims and Wampanoag Native Americans. Our culminating activity was a feast! The students enjoyed eating similar foods to those enjoyed at the first Thanksgiving Day feast in 1621 (fruit salad, cornbread muffins, homemade butter, pumpkin pie). We made our own butter with cream. The shaking was done by the students!
